The Green is an eight-minute walk from Kingston station and is served by several town-centre bus routes. The quickest pedestrian entrance from the station is through Market Parade and along Mill Lane.
Kingston station is approximately 0.4 miles away. Follow signs for Market Parade, then continue south on Mill Lane to the north gate.
Town Hall and Market Parade stops are the closest. Evening services continue after fair closing on Fridays and Saturdays.
There is no public parking on the Green. Use town-centre car parks. Cycle racks are available outside both entrances; bicycles cannot be ridden through the midway.
Both public entrances are step-free, and the main midway is laid on firm temporary trackway where the ground is uneven. Accessible toilets are beside first aid, roughly halfway along the east boundary.
The Green Wheel has a wider loading gate and staff can slow boarding where required. Other ride access varies due to evacuation requirements; please speak to the operator before purchasing tokens if you need assistance transferring.
Every Sunday from 10:30–11:30, ride music is reduced or switched off, flashing sequences are limited where controls allow, and the number of operating attractions is intentionally smaller. The session is open to everyone and no reservation is needed.
Registered assistance dogs are welcome throughout opening hours. Other well-behaved dogs are welcome before 18:00 but should be kept away from ride loading platforms and food preparation areas.
