Stewards Required

Interested in working for the most creative ecological event in your area?

This year, we want to make sure that the fair is run as smoothly as possible and for this we are planning on the help of 250 stewards. Please don't hesitate to forward this message to friends. As examples of duties, you could be involved in inspection of passes, letting participants vehicles on site, helping stall holders, collecting money at the gates, distributing programs etc. Roles other than Stewarding are also available - please contact the Stewards Co-ordinator to discuss.

Stewards duty periods are staggered throughout the day in 4-hour shifts, starting at 6am and finishing at 11pm. We pay expenses of £24.00 per shift plus give you free entrance to the Fair and a snack with a drink (or a full meal if you do 2 shifts).

You must be at least 18 years old. To be most helpful, all you need is a good comprehension of English, a good team spirit and common sense. If you decide to go for it, you won't regret it - it's fun and makes you part of one of the largest eco friendly gathering ever occurring. It also opens further opportunities to work in festivals.

If for any reason you can no longer commit to working, please let us know ASAP as we will have to find someone else to replace you.

Briefing Sessions

All applicants will need to attend a briefing session even if you have worked in previous years (this is for legal and safety reasons). Sessions taking up to 2 hours - you only need attend once, but please arrive early! Dates and venues will be announced soon
