Run for the Future Bold

Nancy Robinson of CAMFED sent us the following poem. Nacy will be running a stall at this year's Fair to raise funds for CAMFED's work in educating rural African girls. The Shooting Star mentioned below is a hospice in the UK for terminally ill children...

Driving on life's fast lane
In joy, happiness, sorrow or pain
What is past is past
Alas, things don't last

So never regret
Learn to reflect
And the future project

Fast forward dream burns
While fate takes its twists and turns
Focusing on helping others
Shooting Star children, fathers, mothers!

Now a new addition
African girl's education
They're her vocation

Green Fair 2005 in Kingston-o'-Thames
Heavy storms, cold rains
Spirits remained untamed
On charity her mind trained!

This year's story is yet untold
No one knows what to behold
Just run for the future bold!
