I'm from the press or publicity agent, who do I contact?

Please contact the Press Officer.

I live in the local area, can I have a free ticket to the Fair?

Sorry, no free tickets this year.

How do I get to the Green Fair on the day?

Please see our comprehensive Travel Info section.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are not allowed at the Fair - sorry, but there are thousands of children and a very unsafe environment for dogs. If you are seen on site with a dog, you will be asked to leave and return without it. Our dog warden is prepared to catch and detain any dogs found without owners. Please help us to keep a lovely green fair and leave your dog at home.

What happens to all the waste produced on the day?

All waste is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility for recycling.

I wish to complain!

We're sorry to hear that - every complaint is logged and investigated. Please contact our Public Relations Officer. If you live locally to Canbury Gardens and have a complaint about noise or nuisance issues on the day of the Fair, please phone our Noise Line on 07718 196764.

Performing at KGF

I am in a band, can we play our music at the Fair?

Please send a demo (preferably on CD) with some details of the band and a photograph to: Sam Hermitage, Kingston Green Fair, the Monkey House, 28 Gibbon Rd, kingston, Surrey, KT2 6AB. Don't forget to include any email and web addresses. Bands with equipment that draw large amounts of power are discouraged - a commitment to renewable energy/green ethics always helps.

I am in a youth group band, can we play at the Fair?

The Battle of the School Bands is organised by Heatham House - please contact Lauren Downes on 020 8288 0950 or via lauren(a)heathamhouse.org.uk.

Can I do walkabouts or performances for children?

Walkabout performers are welcome to come and join in the carnival - you can just turn up on the day and will be allowed in free with a costume on. You can get a ticket in advance by sending some details about yourself to the Kidzone Co-ordinator.

Can I bring an exhibition or do my special project at the Fair?

We welcome proposals for creative, entertaining, and informative exhibitions or projects of a generally green nature. Please send some details of your proposal to the Site Manager.

Working at KGF

Can I practice my healing therapies or sell complementary health services/products?

You will be made welcome provided you are a registered practitioner and have a current insurance certificate. Please contact the Healing Area Co-ordinator. If you want a trading or campaigning stall in the Healing Area, please see our stalls section.

Who do I contact about providing contracted event services, equipment, or materials?

Enquiry from companies with toilets, fencing, marquees, etc should contact the Site Manager.

I'm having problems downloading your application forms - what's wrong?

All downloadable forms on this website are stored in Portable Document Format (PDF) which allows them to be correctly printed on most computers without the need for expensive products like Microsoft Word. In order to use them, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer - you can obtain it for free here. PDF's are used by millions of other websites, and it is likely you will encounter them again as you browse the Internet. If you still have problems we can surface mail the forms to you - but remember we are a voluntary organisation working on a tight budget, so please try to save us money and time if you can.
